Recently, there is a rough sound coming from the front side of my car, I'm not sure whether from tyres or gearbox or whatever. Can be heard when I slowly rev the engine moving at 20 - 40 km/h. I tried to rev during neutral and the sound is not there. SC guy cannot detect the problem and adjusted the belting, but doesn't solve the problem. Anybody can shed a light on this. Thank You.

By the way, mine is 2004 Optima, with 101K mileage on it.

mdali,
Your issue seems to be quite unique, I'm quite sure nobody reported the same with their optimas here.
However, you may want to do some general checks on the gearbox oil, power steering fluids, engine oil levels, perhaps even drive shafts. It's more likely to be gearbox or power steering related since you could not simulate it in neutral.
My old ride had similar problems and it turn out to be power steering pump's bearings.
Cheers!~ jacky
