Hi I'm Ires. Anyone from Johor Bahru? Too bad that I've yet to receive my Optima. Was promised delivery tomorrow. Salesman call today and said next week. Naza KL had yet to settle the AP payment to Customs, he said. I'm really angry.
Can I have some advice on what should I look for when taking delivery of the new optima. It is the basic model only.

Hi ires, welcome to the club. Maybe the promotion makes the demand very high. What color are you ordering?

Hi Khairul, I ordered black. But mata "rambang" when I saw the silver colour. Nayway still sticking with black. I called up Naza Careline to enquire on the delivery date. They only took down my details and promise to return with some info. Nothing yet.

Guys, I'd appreciate if anyone has any information on a good and relaible service centre within the johor bahru vicinity. After reading members' experience in KvOptima forum, I guess most service centres are just out for a quick buck, i.e. lack the ethics to ensure that customers are satisfied and that maintenance and repairs are carried out according to specifications. If this continue then, I'm afraid Naza service will become another potong.
So guys, I;d appreciate if anyone could share information on a good and relaible service centre in johor bahru.
Thank you.

Hi Ires,
You got push them to get things going. I just got mine yesterday, it would be next week too if I did not make noise at their HQ and branch.
One thing you got to take note, make sure you go to JPJ to register the car yourself, else it would be a few more days of delay! JPJ will issue the registeration card and road tax on the spot if the owner is present. Mine dragged to 4 working days because I wasn't free to do it.
Have a nice weekend!

Hi Jacky,
Guess you're right on the pushing thing. I called Naza Careline on Thursday to lodge a complain. They promise to return and provide progress info. Today is already Saturday. Nothing. I will call again on Monday. Its so frustrating to expect professional service.
Thanks for the advice Jacky.

Yep.. Agree with Jacky.. My advice.. keep calling them.. until they give a definite answer to u. Don't just be satsified by the normal "We'll get back to you" answer. Demand for a date.. Good luck ..

Hi, I wonder why Naza now so slow..... 2years ago I can get it within 3 days...., Ires ask your salesman to show the AP form for the date they settle the payment. We have the right to ask.

Hi All, If there's any friend interested to buy Kia/Naza cars, make sure we all advise them to buy from an Authorised dealer instead of Naza/Kia branch. Those cars in dealer's showroom already got AP, just waiting for loan approval and JPJ registration. Do check out the mileage though... BTW, when I was at Rawang, there are tonnes of Bestari/206, Ria, Citra and Spectra there. Guess there will be another big discount campaign soon

Guys, I booked the car through an authorised Naza Dearler. Was told by the Manager that they have ready stock, but AP not paid by Naza HQ. Therefore, they're waiting for the AP to be paid and the documents sent to them by Naza HQ before they could proceed to the next level i.e. with JPJ.
Therefore, I had called Naza Careline to seek some answers. As might be aware, no answers yet lah. Will hound them again tomorrow.
Thank you for the advice and support.

Still have yet to receive my Optima, promised delivery last Friday. I called up Naza Careline yesterday and also the authorised dealer. Both cannot give a definite delivery date. However, their story jived i.e. its an AP issue with the Customs. Don't know whether its a real issue or a collaborated answer. But the fact remained that I am left with no car.
I'm frustrated and pissed off.

Finally received my black knight yesterday evening, but not without challenges. Went to JPJ in the morning, could not register as the engine number shown on their system (entered by the finance company) was wrong. Wasted 2 hours.
Nevertheless, frustration ended late evening when dealer called to collect the car. Enjoyed the ride, smooth, but has a little belt noise during initial start.
Thank you everybody for the advise given.
