I thing I noticed is the inconsistency in the items replaced when changing timing belt. Some mentioned about timing belt, which in the ordinary connotation it means the timing belt, the idle bearing and oil seals. Some SCs just mentioned this, while at Naza it includes the former plus Balancer Timing Belt, Balancer Tensioner, Cylider Cam Pro. Don;t know whether the addition parts as mentioned by Naza is a necessity to change.
By the way, I've changed mine at an authorised SC & the damage is RM1,460.10. Parts & labour costs are as follows: -
1. Timing Belt = RM321.90 2. Balancer Timing Belt = RM80.80 3. Auto Tensioner = RM320.90 4. Balancer Tensioner = RM96.60 5. Ideler Bearing = RM110.10 6. Cylinder Cam Pro = RM59.40 7. Camshaft Oil Seal (2 pcs)= RM24.50 8. Tensioner Bearing = RM105.20 9. Crankshaft Oil Seal = RM34.70 10. Aircond Belt = RM68.00 11. Alternator Belt = RM38.00 12. Labour Chanrge = RM200
The timing belt kit for Optima cost RM320 at a spare part shop I enquired and they said its orignal. But not sure whether the kit includes all the above, except the labout charge.
I believe at RM1,400 + is too darn expensive for a timing change at 60,000 km, which is 1.5 years for me.

Been thinking for quite some time and finally opt to go to my regular mechanic for timing belt change.
All in all... was very please with the results!
Parts used was as ori as it can be... and I trust this fella for his honesty. Paid RM820 for complete belt and bearing change, and RM120 for original ATF 4L, while oil filter was RM25. I brought my own Mobil 1.
Total = RM 965.
