50K service is just a normal service. However, it is also a final chance for u to file warranty claim if there is any.
As I know, the major service is 40K, 60K (timing belt change) and 80K.

Hi! Samuelk,
Are you service your car at Naza Kia SC? As I seen from your list, there are 4L + 1L engine oil change which is similar in my previous service at Juru SC. As I check with the authorized SC later, they said it only needed 4L. If it is true, we have been overcharge for 1L which cost RM51.00. Furthermore, there no proof that whether they have pour in the 1L to our engine. Maybe any member who have done their service outside can help us to clarify?

Service at Naza SC, they will use 4L + 1L= 5L. Service at authorised SC, they will use only 4L. That is based on my experience visiting both type of SC. Our car call for 4.3 L of motor oil. But when fill with just 4L, dipstick is already at full mark. When fill 4L + 1L it exceeds the max. Those idiots at Naza SC just happily pour in 5L, cause I've checked and have to throw away (suck it out) the excess cause I do not want the oil to "bubble which reduces its effectiveness as a lubricant. So just chaeck and make sure its not overfilled. I think 4 L is just nice.

My 50K Service cost breakdown. Did it today at authorised SC;
- Syntium 3000 5w30 4L + 1L = RM198 + RM51 - Oil Filter = RM25.50 - Drain Plug Washer =RM1.70 - ATF= RM82.40 (SP III , but brand cap ayam i.e. PIKA. Don't know how many litres used-) - DOT 4 brake fluid (charged for 2 bottles) =RM36 - Coolant =RM28 - Air Filter =RM46 - Fuel Filter=RM73.10 - Labour Charge =RM70 Total damage=RM586.20
I also asked SC to service the air cabin filter. Probably, need to change it cos its real dirty, but they don't have the part. Cost to change is RM80+
Conclusion: Not happy with the PIKA ATF. Have not heard of it, nor can I find any info about it on the net. Therefore will probably throw it out after 5K KM.
Naza, if you're reading this, please control the parts & lubes your SC uses. ATF is one of the critical lubes and quality should not be comprimised.

Yah Goh, my car was done at JnS Sungai Pinang also the same with the motor oil been going there since after 10K.. have the same feeling about the ATF too, thinking of changing to some better brands like Motul since I don't think I'll be going back to the SC's anymore as my mileage has already pass the 50K mark.. still seriously thinkin about it..whether to do my timing belt and 60K service at the SC's or not..hmm...especially after reading bout goh's experience.. might take it to my previous mechanic who maintained my previous car(merc) for me..

Samuel, I believe in maintaining a relationship with a mechanic i.e. trust the guy for a good job and not trying to ask us to change unnecessary parts. Therefore, in your case if you feel that your mechanic is trustworthy and did a good job on your previous cars, then you should go back to him. You know lah SC can only service cars i.e. change engine oil. Other than that, they're are also learning & can screw up bid time. But being in KL, you have many choices, unlike me here in JB.

Samuelk, forgot to add, please make sure that the motul fits the specs for SP III i.e. for mitsubishi gearbox. Don't go for one specified for Dexron, though many mechanics will say its the same. They are not and will cut short the life of your auto gearbox. Expensive wo to replace / repair.
