Admin & Guys,
Don't know whether this is the right category to highligh this issue of NCD refund.
It has since been four months since I bought the Optima, but I have yet to receive my insurance (NCD) discount.
I was told by the dealer that the refund will be issued by Naza HQ. I have followed up with Naza Careline and was told that due to the Merdeka Promotion, they were overwhelmed by administrative procedures and therefore refunds are slow at the moment. Slow maybe, but 4 months going into the 5th now. That's totally unacceptable.
I have also called up the insurance company and was told that they've paid Naza and that Naza should be channelling the refund to me.
Has anybody encountered this situation? Are there any other avernues to seek redress through Naza? I intend to write officially to Naza. Does anyone know whom I should address my letter to?
Thanks and look forward to your input.

Same thing. I just got my cheque collected from my Insurrance refund of 55% after 5 months. I did my own transfer from Kurnia. Kurnia will collect back the premium gain from Naza. As long as I've got back what I wanted I am not worried

hhlex & Jacky,
Thanks for your input. It is a "sort of a relief" that I'm not alone on this issue. At least it tells me that the refund process by Naza is bogged down. Nevertheless, I believe we should at least do something, like write to them, rather than just leave it as it is.

Seems like we're all in the same boat. But what else can we do? Am waiting for mine too, coming 4th month already. Normally how long does it take to get back the refund.

Past experiences, about 1 month, maybe max is 2. Some dealers could give instant rebate, i.e. if you could show them a "letter" from the current insurer that you're eligible to NCD, inlcuding the percentage. Mine, all necessary documents given to the dealer. Still nothing in sight. Also no commitment nor confirmation on the refund date. sigh......

No la samuel. Sent letter also no reply. Me nervous already i.e. in the event that when we renew our insurance, our eligibility to NCD is forfeited. Can that happen? But I've called my insurance company and they said that all documents are with Naza for the refund.
I don't think this delay is good for Naza's reputation and I don't think Naza cares about its customers plight. Me oso fed-up with this delay.
