Guys... I noticed rattling noise from the left side of the dashboard, though not loud, but really irritating . Will try to get the SC to fix this. Anyone else have the same issue here?

I have it to. Though irritating, I just ignore it, cos don;t want those SC buggers to make it worse. Careful when they need to dismantle the dashboard.

check ur drawer at left hand side, do u put anythings inside that cause the noises?
For me, there have no odd sounds for the past 1 year, but recently, there is some minor sound (when picking up fr idling, especially during 1st start in the morning) which I suspect it is fr pillar B (left). Unable to find the actual source that cause the odd sound.

I face the same problem too. The sound came from the centre panel near my dvd or maybe the dvd itself. Also from the front passenger seat (the leather touch each other at the joint when the car move). The SC man ask me to send the car on weekdays as the q quite long on weekend.

Im sure it's from the leftmost of the dashboard. Have removed everything from the glovebox... sigh..... 3 weeks' car already have such problem.
Another thing is that my front left speakers seems to be faulty.. giving cracking sound on deep bass under normal volume (less than 15). Guess the SC fellas sure wont replace such item, plan to upgrade to either Kickers or perhaps Nakamichi speakers soon.
Anyone know what is the size of the front speakers? Do you need to open the whole door panel to access to the speakers?
thanks a lot!

Jacky,
Car will be "raped" lah if you change the ice. Had experienced it in the past. I'm delaying changing anything. Don't want my new baby to be manhandled unneccessarily, otherwise can hear additional instruments from rattling. Still keeping my Punch amplifiers, DLS speakers and Punch sub (all from ex car) until my heart opens up for the installation. At the moment too "sayang" to allow any installer to do it.
Please choose a good installer. I'm speaking from past experience here.

Anybody has fixed the sound? For the time being, I switch on my radio every time I drive my car.

Not yet fixed cos belum berani nak bagi SC fixed it. Could become worse. The rattling sound for mine appears to be coming from mid left. Car is about 2 weeks +. Noise starts after 1st 1k service.
Khairul, switiching on the radio is an excellent idea. Volume at about 12 to 14 should do it.

hmm... seems like i'm not alone again. I really hope to be able to solve this rattling noise, it's strange that such thing happened after the 1k service.
How about wet carpet issue? Anyone experienced it ?

I never experience the rattling sound before.. hmmm.. weird..
Since all the problem starts after the 1K service, just send your car back to the SC. Ask them what they did? hhhmmm...

Probably a coincidence. Anyway, BigE, does your front seats' backrest squeaks?

Probably a coincidence. Anyway, BigE, does your front seats' backrest squeaks? The leather squaks? Yep.. I can hear it. But not so loud that it becomes irritating. It is actually the sound of your leather seats rubbing against each other.. I just do a normal 'push' and 'pull' in between the leathers.. then the sound disappears..
